Integrated Class Location

Integrated Class Location

Class location analysis is a regulatory-driven process used to ensure adequate levels of pipeline integrity and public safety. Although class location results are used as an input factor in determining the pipe grade during pipeline design, class location results are also needed throughout the pipeline lifecycle as part of ongoing operation and maintenance of the pipeline system. Integrated Class Location is designed to enable pipeline operators to automate class location analyses using either CSA Z662 guidance or 40 CFR Part 192 regulations.

Working in conjunction with pipelines, structures, and gathering areas defined in your corporate geographic information system, the application streamlines the analysis process for efficiently and effectively meeting regulatory requirements and readily integrates with any database model including APDM, PODS, PODS spatial, or client-specific model.
