Weekliii Round-Up: News on ArcGIS Pro Migration and Developing Marine Oil Spill Response Apps

It may be Friday the13th, but that does not mean we are afraid to share some of our latest news. For those who are brave enough, grab another cup of coffee, sit back, and dive in to our latest #WeekliiiRoundUp below!

We are excited to announce that our company has received funding from the NL Innovation Council to reshape the way in which asset and personnel tracking are handled for Marine Oil Spill Response in the Newfoundland and Labrador region.

The project will include the development of a new Tracking Data Management System to be deployed by Marine Emergency Response Industry users in both real-time emergency scenarios and regulated training sessions.

Expected to be completed August 2019, this is a big step forward for both Oil and Gas and Emergency Response in the Province. View the full press release here.

Moving on up to the ArcGIS Pro is a big topic these days - and thankfully, we have just the tool (err, tools) to help with that. The applications within the Integrated Marco Studio suite - including Integrated Marco Desktop, Integrated Marco Commander, and Integrated Marco Pro - are essential for better managing your spatial data and monitoring the move. Learn how these resources can be used for that and much more here.

*Bonus Points: Weren't able to make it to our Spatial Data Discovery talk this week at the Esri User Conference? Have no fear! Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we catch you up on suggestions and methodology for giving your system and data a once-over in time to move to this new platform.

It is time to take advantage of the changing marketplace forgeomatics - embracing new software, implementing smart technology, and so much more. Learn more in this week's #DailyBrainCandiii post.

#DailyBrainCandiii and #WeekliiiRoundUp are inspired by brain candiii, a division of Integrated Informatics that develops Geographic Information System (GIS) training for Energy and Natural Resources professionals.
